Betty Ann Osborne, age 77, passed away on September 24, 2024 in Roseville, California. Born November 12, 1946, in Wytheville, Virginia. Betty remained connected to her rural roots as the family moved to Washington D.C., Maryland, Maine, and California, adding three siblings along the way. Betty moved with her Family to Sacramento in 1960. She graduated from Roseville High School in 1964. Following her father's example, Betty dedicated much of her life to serving her country. Serving in a Civil Service career for the U.S. Air Force beginning in 1965 at McClellan Airbase. She served a 37 year, highly commendable career retiring at Wright Patterson Airbase in Ohio. Throughout her life, Betty maintained a keen interest in genealogy, tracing family histories and connecting past generations with present ones. This hobby was not only a testament to her love of history but reflected he deep appreciation for her roots and family bonds. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Jackson G. Osborne Sr., and Emma Creola {Stuart) Osborne. Survived by her sister Deborah L. Osborne, brothers Jackson G. Osborne Jr. (the late Judith), George W. Osborne (Sharon), and her beloved nieces Meagan Osborne, Arianna Osborne, and Amy Eoff, along with numerous family and friends throughout Ohio, Virginia, and the Carolina regions. Betty's life was marked by her commitment to her family, career and her passions. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her honor to your favorite charities, continuing her legacy of kindness and caring.
